Looking back over our photos from the Annapolis boatshow I'm reminded of a phrase we learnt of shortly before sailing in the World ARC 2008 - "It's all about the people you meet along the way". At the Annapolis boatshow you certainly get to meet a lot of people, and that's what makes us tick - meeting old friends, new influencers, old customers, new prospects. It's an exciting few days with lots of chat about solar & sailing.

We noticed there was in general a better understanding of solar and how it works aboard and walking around the boats (when we had a chance!) it was noticeable that more boats are having solar offered from the factory which is great. The number of electric and hybrid boats on offer is also on the rise, and solar makes a perfect complement - why not charge with solar whilst underway and help extend range & time on the water? Read our earlier news post about range anxiety.
The International Cruisers Awards was a fun evening and we were excited to be a supporting sponsor with one lucky couple winning a 2x100W SunPower E-flex bundle in the prize draw.
